Past Discoveries has seventeen years experience in family history and genealogy, starting in 1994. We provide research services to clients helping them to find out about their ancestors and provide a service throughout England but especially in Hertfordshire, Essex, Cambridgeshire and Middlesex.

Past Discoveries can help to bring your family tree to life with the information found from many sources. I would be pleased to discuss any of our packages. All final Family Histories are presented in a professional way. The final piece will bring your family to life.
I offer a complete range of services from small services that you require to full projects such as in my Georgian and Tudor Packages. The packages all come with a final report that is both professional and full of information and includes all birth, marriage and death certificates as well as Census Returns and Parish Records if found. For the Georgian and Tudor Packages these can be presented to you as a hard-backed book if preferred and is ideal as a present or as a family keepsake.
Fee Information:
I offer different types of research packages denoted by the British Eras. If you choose one of my Family History Packages show below, other than the Modern Package which is personally tailored to your needs, then you will pay no more than the price quoted.
- Modern Package £20.00 per hour
- Edwardian Package £250.00
- Victorian Package £300.00
- Regency Package £900.00
- Georgian Package £800.00
- Tudor Package £1500.00
What is Included in all Packages:

Copies of all GRO Certificates (Birth, Marriage and Death).
- Copies of all Census Returns found.
- Transcriptions of all GRO Certificates and Census Returns and any other documentation found.
- Copies of any other information found such as WWI Army papers or a Will.
- If possible information about the area your family lived in, along with the social and economic conditions that your family would have experienced.
- A Direct Pedigree Tree starting with the Source Person.
- A Family Tree showing all siblings from Census Returns and other sources.
- Compilation of your Report.
- Further Research that could be undertaken to broaden your Family Tree.
I offer a free fifteen minute consultation whereby we can discuss the research that you require. I would give you a suggestion of the number hours to be worked which we can review as the research progresses. Expenses will be charged with the Modern Package but all expenses are included with all other Packages.
The Georgian and Tudor Packages are presented to you in a Leather-effect Spring binder but can be made into a hard-backed book on request.
