QualificationsI worked for the North Carolina Division of Archives and History for four years, and have conducted genealogical and historical research in all fifty states for over 20 years. I was appointed to, and served on the Wake County Historic Preservation Commission as representative of Historic Oakwood, Raleigh, North Carolina's largest Historic District for five years. I earned a B.A. in History, Magna Cum Laude, in the Honors Program at North Carolina State University in 1992. Academic honors include the 1992 NCSU Research Symposium Paper Prize and the NCSU History Department Class of 1992 Paper Prize.
