Find Your Family History

Qualifications:

• We are a small UK based team offering to help you begin your family tree or advance the research you have already completed.  We offer services to UK based and international customers looking to further their research of their own or another's family in the UK.
  
  
• Our mission is to provide documented accurate family histories using only reliable sources.  No information is inferred where a definite link cannot be proved.  We will ensure regular communication between ourselves and you the customer, keeping you updated of progress and ensuring only research is completed that is authorised by you the customer, ensuring no unexpected costs.
  
  
• We will compile all the research into a professional portfolio containing completed and evidential records.  We will include modern day genealogy at your request to provide you with an up to date record for yourself or as a gift for another.  Also included, where applicable will be timelines, maps and pictures, in addition to any modern pictures to be included at the request of you the customer, particularly where it is a gift for a family or an individual.

Services

• FIND YOUR FAMILY HISTORY offers to trace and document your chosen family name(s) in the form of a professional portfolio based on the information you initially provide.  We only charge for the time taken to research your family genealogy, the documenting, portfolio, printing and postage are all included free.
   
• However, certain records, such as birth, marriage and death certificates may be required to further the research.  The cost of this will be incurred by the customer, but no administration charges will be applied and prior approval will be requested from you before this is done.  Fees for certain certificates are dependent on the time they were certified and the council from which they are obtained, but typically cost £3 - 10 each.
  

Fee Information:

• The charge for FIND YOUR FAMILY HISTORY services is £12 per hour and the amount of time you request us to work on your family history is directed by you.  You will only be charged for the time spent researching and producing your family portfolio.  If you have granted a set time for us to research and we do not require that time or become limitations occur in tracing your history further, you will only be charged for the hours of work performed.
