We are not all related to notable historical figures, the majority of our ancestors lived simple lives within their communities. However finding out who these people were, what they did for a living and what their standing was, amongst that community can hold enormous interest. It is those small details about their lives that bring our ancestors to life and give a tree it's roots. It is these details which I strive to find.

I will do a free initial search to ensure that I can be of help to you. I have easy access to the original records of Nottinghamshire, Lincolnshire, South Yorkshire and Derbyshire as well as a stockpile of records which I have accumulated. However if it is necessary I am also able to provide research in other areas. I will always source original records, providing all references and copies of relevant documents and certificates.

I will give you regular feedback and update you as to where I am in the research. I will provide an accurate, efficient and confidential service which will be both friendly and enthusiastic. I welcome all enquiries both large and small.

Fees

• General research fee £15 ph
• Outside of area - General research fee + travelling expenses
• Financial limit can be agreed
• Certificates, photocopies etc. at cost price
