Qualifications:

• Over 20 years of experience.
• University degree - BA(Wits).
• Author of A Lairdship Lost - the Mowats of Balquholly, 1309-1736; Registers of the Secession Churches and Parish Registers in the Kirk Session Records of the Church of Scotland.
• Member of the Association of Scottish Genealogists and Researchers in Archives.
  

Specialist Services:

• Can transcribe older Scottish documents (16th century onwards), such as testaments (wills), sasines (records of property), deeds etc.
• Can summarise sasines written in Old Scots or in Latin
• Can transcribe letters, diaries etc
