Qualifications

I am a member of the Association of Professional Genealogists, the National Genealogical Society, the Ohio Genealogical Society, the Montgomery County Genealogical Society and various family surname societies. I have received training at the Samford Institute of Genealogy and Historical Research at the intermediate and advanced proficiency levels. I have completed coursework for a masters degree in American History at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

Services

My principle interest is the development of genealogies and lineages from local 18th and 19th century primary materials within a reasonable radius from Dayton -- southwestern Ohio, eastern Indiana and northern Kentucky.

Fees

My rate is $18.00 an hour for research, travel and report assembly. Travel expenses (e.g., hotel, meals, gasoline) and other expenses germaine to the task (e.g., photocopying, document certification costs) are additional.
