Connecticut Ancestor Connections provides professional historical and genealogical research services to individuals or groups.

  • I have a Bachelor of Arts degree (BA) in history.
  • While a student at Eastern Connecticut State University, I worked at the Center for Connecticut Studies.
  • Instructor: Genealogical research methods: Beginner and Internet.
  • I am a member of the following related organizations:
    • Connecticut Professional Genealogist Council (CPGC: Membership Chair.
    • On list of Professional Genealogist familiar with the CT State Library Collections.
    • Connecticut Society of Mayflower Descendants.
    • Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR): Nathan Hale Memorial Chapter.

Fees:

An hour fee is charged, with a three hour minimum. This is the time reserved to do your research project and present the findings in a written report if applicable. There is an out-of-pocket charge for copies and mailings. No tax due outside of CT. I do not charge for traveling costs within the greater Middlesex/New London/Windham Counties or to Hartford. A 50% retainer is needed to begin a research project. Payment is made by check mailed to the address provided or you may pay with a charge card through PayPal. The balance is due upon receipt of your materials/and or report.
